Looking for a trendy upbeat pop band that sounds like that other group named after a southern dish but has explicit Christian lyrics? That can be a tough find in a somewhat scarce field of Christian music. Especially if you're looking for the style, quality, and catchy rhythms of artists like Black Eyed Peas. You realize immediately after you "press play" that "World Anthem" could be just what you were looking for.

This new release from Press Play has it all, great beats, catchy rhythms, and actual Christian lyrics. You'll be amazed that something in this genre this good could actually be Christian, but it is, blatantly. The obvious comparison that would come to mind would be Group 1 Crew, and if you thought you heard them on the album you would be right. Manwell Reyes from Group 1 Crew lends his voice talents to "F-I-R-E".

Tracks three "Let It Out", seven "Raise It Up", and their first single from the album track five "Three Little Words" are ridiculously catchy. When you get to the last two songs you'll hear a decidedly different side from the group, the two worshipful songs "Give it All" and "Angels Sing". Both are a nod to the reason we sing and a nice ending to another great release.

A warning however, this album is begging to destroy your speakers because you just want to keep turning it up.... just a little more... a little more. Press Play's "World Anthem" is no doubt one of the coolest pop albums this year.
