Unique and eclectic and engaging would be just the beginning of how to describe worship artist Caleb Ray’s second full album, "This Little Light". This project doesn’t shy away from the seriousness of our worship to God; yet, at the same time, Caleb brings a sense of fun to both the musical and lyrical aspects.

The lyrics of "This Little Light" are what will also capture the ear of the listener. Despite being a worship artist, in more ways than one, Caleb shows how to worship God despite the lyrics not necessarily being ones you might hear within the walls of a church building. They are ones they bring comparisons that are relatable. He crafts storylines throughout his songs that don’t make him feel like he’s just singing and playing a song to you; he engages you and draws you into the stories he sings and writes about.

Koselig: “It’s happened once again/Summer comes to an end/When September brings the rain/I know that You'll remain my closest friend…(Chorus) Seasons come and they will go/But You'll be there and I will always know/I'll never leave Your side/cause You’re holding me close”

The Song in Me: “You shut my mouth/So I’d learn to listen/I discovered just what I've been missin/You opened my eyes so I might see the living song in me…(Chorus) Hey oh, hey oh/You know that there’s a song in me/Hey oh, hey oh/Only You can set it free…”

Letting Go: “I won’t take the easier road/I’m letting go now/I’m letting go now/You gave me everything that I own/I’m letting go now”

The creativity that was put into this project shows the mastery and skill that Caleb has been gifted with and definitely honed. If things continue on this manner, the possibilities are endless. He is positioned to be on the forefront of bringing new definition to the world of music in all areas. This is indeed an excellent project!
