Darrell Evans Signs To Dream; New Album In 2013 by Dream Music Group on 2013-04-11 08:58:15
Los Angeles, CA (April, 2013) – Dove Award-nominated singer-songwriter, Darrell Evans has been busy in the studio tracking for his new album, Awesome God Is He, which will be released this coming August 27th on DREAM Worship. The album is being recorded at Crystal Village Studios in Colorado Springs, CO with producer Michael Rossback (Gungor). The new studio album will be his 9th full length album and will be the first with DREAM, following his critically acclaimed album, Freedom, which has sold over 250,000 copies.
“This new project, "Awesome God Is He" is my personal favorite. It is honest, celebrative, passionate and full of enouraging life. I chose to record songs that any church could use in corporate worship and songs that would speak to individuals of all ages. There is an Americana, folksy-pop feel to most of the tracks that I'm confident will inspire all kinds of musicians in their own expressions of music and worship. We had so much fun playing and recording these new songs and I believe that listeners will immediately feel a part of it as if they were there themselves praising with us", explains Darrell Evans.
The worship leader, famous for songs "Trading My Sorrows", "Fields Of Grace", "Freedom" and "Let The River Flow, will be headlining this fall in support of his new album. Dates will be announced in the coming months.

ARTICLE Slightly Obsessed #195: What Is the Apocalypse?
The Long Range Weather Forecast published by The Old Farmer’s Almanac 2017 accurately predicted a bitter winter last year, which dumped so much snow on the country that it inspired the Snowpocalypse festival in Milwaukee, Snowpocalypse survivor badges in Boise, and its own Twitter hashtag #snowmageddon. In keeping with our national compulsion to turn every personal victory or trial into a meme, we can now add -mageddon or -pocalypse to a catastrophe for an over-the-top event to post on our favorite social media outlet.
