Very sad news from Superchick. They posted Friday that drummer Chase Lovelace had passed away. Chase had been battling with cancer. See the post from their Facebook page below and feel free to leave a note for his family on his website

"Heartbroken to have to tell you all that our dear friend and bandmate Chase passed away today. We are so proud of him for fighting so hard and so long, and although we're happy that he's no longer in pain, we will miss him so much.

Please join us in celebrating Chase's life, and please remember to also keep his family and everyone who loved him in your thoughts and prayers. If you haven't already, please click the link below to go to his website and leave a note in the guestbook, or make a donation towards the medical bills left behind.

Chase, you were an amazing drummer and an even more amazing friend. We love you, we miss you and we'll see you again soon... Heaven is louder and has a new big smile today.

Chase Lovelace
